CNET wasn't that impressed, overall rating was "its ok, but overpriced". See the review here:

I would like to see the smooth scrolling capabilities the Dell icons have to be incorporated into XL categories

It all depends on what you want the machine to do, for xLobby its perfect maybe for CAD or gamming its out of the question....!. In many cases if you add more memory, tweak vista and remove all the unnessary resource hogs, most machines do what the average joe does with them any way like for Myspace, Facebook, E-Mail, Word, Excel, etc.. If you spend to much on a high machine for basic computing, its not a good decision because within a short time its obsolete and your upgrading or buying another machine again anyway.

Just my 2 cents.... :)
