The Pad area is for your finger, just like whats on a typical laptop. So can select any object on screen and tap on that area to trigger a left mouse click.

I'll be interested in seeing whether this is frequency-agile or whether you can assign "channels".
Reason is, they might be cool for fat clients but if too close to the server, there could be interference.
