NAS - Fat client

Would I have any issues trying to stream ripped DVD video from a Gigabit Network Attached Storage Devise to a fat client, though a gigabit NIC and hub?

Looking into the future, any issue with blu-ray content?

I use a SLUG(NLSU2) with two 500Gb discs and I have no problems with dvd's or mkv files.

I stream 1080p content over my gigabit LAN. You can watch multiple DVDs on a 10/100 network. On a Gigabit, you'll probably run out of rooms before you run out of bandwidth.
