Visualization

The latest build (May 23rd, 2008) has an event under music for visualization. Is this a left over from the winamp days or will visualization be added to the integrated player?
Hopefully support is planned for the latest MilkDrop V2 release.

xMusic will help if you are still using WinAmp... it can control milkdrop 1 and 2. If you are using the internal player you seem to be out of luck.

Personally, I cant live without a good visualisation (preferably milkdrop or one that looks as good) so i am still using WinAmp.


Was, can you not link the internal player to the milkdrop plugin in the winamp folder and render it to a frame in xlobby?

I know several other apps do this (TherterTek, medio-os etc).

Has BaddaBing's question been answered yet (as I have the same question)? Wes's reply references a plug-in. Does the Xlobby internal music player do visualizations (if so, how do I make this display)?

When it was brought up a qhile ago i got the impression that it was on there to do list?

Visualization is definately on our list either internal or by using external programs, just to busy on other things right now. There will be another V3 Alpha release next week. I will be posting all the details then.
