Baddabing,

Thank you. I had a chance to take a look at your skin this weekend and think you did a great job. I started modifying the skin for my touchscreen application. Great layout and graphics.

What program do you design most of your graphics in? This is a serious weakness for me and I'd like to sharpen up my skill base.

Good work. Thank you for posting it up!

I'm seriously behind the curve as far as graphic programs go, I am still on Adobe PhotoShop version 7. Colby spent a lot of time with me and got me going in the right direction. Colby has dropped out of sight so I now use the "photoshop for dummies" books and have found them very helpful. The rest is just trial and error. The skins that take me days to produce I'm sure a skilled PhotoShop wiz could knock out in minutes.

I am attempting to use the new skin as it looks great. I am currently using Xlobby 2.0 (free version) and the Heavy Metal TS skin. When I load the new one (Monder Metal), I just get a solid yellow screen where the movie and music cover art are supposed to appear. Everything works great with the Heavy Metal skin. Is it that I am using an older version of Xlobby? Or is there something else that could be causing the problem? I would really like to use this skin - any help is really appreciated.
Thanks.

Typically a solid yellow shape means that Xlobby can't find the object defined in the XML of the skin file. I would try bringing up the skin editor and looking at the information in the category tab. It is most likely that the category is not pointed at the your music DB. The other possible option is that the blue rectangle that makes up the border in the window is not being drawn correctly as SteveHanna changed the way transparency is handled. Those are the only two objects that make up that window.

Thanks for the reply. I tried the skin editor and the category tab; however, I am unable to edit anything in this tab. I simply can not select anything in this tab, all the others are editable. Is there something else I can try or do? I would really like to use this skin, but not sure if there is a way to get this to work with my setup and Xlobby 2.0. Thanks for any further suggestions.
