Thanks. I'm looking at a room that is 11 feet wide. I can move the wall to make it longer (up to 18') but the other 3 walls can't (2 outside walls, 1 load bearing). Was wondring your size to get a feel of your room based on the pics.

Updated my home theater XL skin screenshots - see the first post in the thread.

Will you share the new version of your impressive skin ?
Thanks

Hi BaddaBing,

If that possible issue, to share this very cool skin with us, simple "as is", fully understand the busy issue regarding that.

Somehow, the other skin compare to this, look very old.

Thanks in advanced.

My best.

Hi Badabing, I've been toying around with your HeavyMetal skin, and its great. I plan on adding multi-room support (when I get good enough :)). I'm currently running a dual-head video card similar to yours.... 1 side for Xlobby, and extended side that gets sent to bigscreen. I do have a few questions on your setup:

Can you do a slide show of your pictures on the bigscreen? Since the viewer is embedded in Xlobby, I can only view pictures and slide show from the Xlobby skin (which would be on your touchpanel). Or is there an alternative external viewer that could be used.

Also, are your t.v. station buttons sending learned commands via USBuirt to a cable box/sat ? I still need to plan out the whole IR distribution thing, as my Xlobby server will be on the other end of the house from where my IR-based equipment resides...

Thanks for the help!

Using Picasa (free from Google) and Girder. See this post:http://www.xlobby.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3417

Yes, again using Girder and a USBUIRT. I use Girder because I am familiar with it but many other XL users leverage the built in IR capabilities of XL.

Thanks Baddabing. I'll check out picasso, as well as the Girder/USBUIRT combe. When you mention the build in IR functionality of XLobby, I am assuming you will still need USBIRT to transmit???

When I come up with a new 'personal' skin to replace this one I will share it - but for now it's my baby. Hope you understand.

Install them in Windows the same way you would any other. Start Menu > Control Panel > Fonts > File > Install New Font (or something thereabouts, that's how I do it in Win2k). You'll have to restart Xlobby for them to work.

Sorry, but do you mean post a new movie of the new skin or repost the movie from the old touchskin I was running?
If you want to see the old movie it's here:http://www.xlobby.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4729

Baddabing, what are you using to play the XBOX. Are you using a capture card to play in real time. If you are playing in real time what card are you using because I am interested in getting one so I can scale my PS2.
