Just saw that and thought, hey, that would be a cool input device for xlobby. Have something like that on your wall instead of keys and all sorts of stuff. Or possibly on an end table or the like.. Yeah?

I have one of those. They work great. I put it in an Atech Fabrication case and it is seemless. The Atech case is made of black anodized aluminium and the Griffin Powermate is available in black as well.

Combined with a VFD display and a few "tweaks" (proper sequence on skins - as the button can act as a "mouse" with clicks and all) on Xlobby it works pretty good.

They are VERY expensive though (the cases not the button)

Set up a button to shut your garage door AND show you if it's open or closed graphically... I'd build these things into every wall if I could afford it... :)
