Trojan FYI - screenshots

I hope this is the most appropriate forum for this. I looked at the XL server this morning. The screen shots should say it all. I don't appear to have any damage.

I deleted. Under the threat screen, I saw this which I Googled as a trojan.

trojan attack in Announcements posted in wrong forum

Postby Jay on Tue Aug 15, 2006 9:49 pm

This trojan attack info should have gone into the General forum.
I've removed a bunch of these critters for clients but never encountered one myself.

Can anyone tell me how XL fits into this?

Don't know why Imgs were not inserted in my original post in Announcements.

I remember some time ago Xlobby causing a trojan alert. It was because my spy/adware definitions were very out of date. In fact until I cleaned up my computer it associated the alert with XL. It leached onto XLobby program group but it wasnt the real problem.

As far as your images, make sure you didnt disable HTML,BBCODE or whatever when posting. The options on the bottom right of your post tells you if HTML is on.

Thanks. I'll check the settings.
My XL machine anti-virus program is Nod32. Doesn't get any better IMHO.

All I can think of is you have an older copy of xlobby that used internet explorer for pinging....I have since moved away from that idea (a month or two ago?)because it was cauing issues. Or you actually have a screen that has a browser on it? Those are the only ways I can think of xlobby accessing the temp ie settings.....very strange.

I may have had a XL browser screen up when this happened. Can't recall now. XL build is 1.0.2407.3551. Pretty recent.

Yup, I see that 'Disable HTML in this post' is my default. Thanks for that.
