That was one of the other plans for the weekend. Costco around here sells guiness by the case I just found out.

Thanks for the offer to walk me through getting my TV application to integrate with xlobby.

The application has keyboard shortcuts for almost every function. Is it therefore possible to shortcut the whole event assigning process, by simply assigning the relevant keyboard shortcut to the specific buttons in xlobby (ie: rather than finding the specific send command parameters) ? Is it possible to create an event in xlobby which can assign keyboard shortcut commands ? To my understanding, provided xlobby is able to make the TV application the active application then the relevant keyboard shortcut will trigger the relevant event in the TV application.

If not, how would I find the sendmessage commands for the TV application.

Just so you know the application is called DNTV Live and is designed to be Sage like. http://www.digitalnow.com.au/dntvlive/index.html

regards

If they have a forum, or way to email the developer, that would be the place to ask the question about sendmessage commands. We can make DNTV the active app, that's easy. Keyboard presses - you might want to ask in the main support forum. I'm not sure if there's a pluign to do it or if steven is still working on it, or if it's already built-in. I'll look around a little this weekend myself also. Otherwise, I think you can always bring in Girder as a last resort, but let's try to avoid that.

Naylia,

Do you have icons for either an open or record button that match your other transport stream buttons?

An eject button would be the same, and work perfectly. I'm trying to setup your sagetv screen to work with the myHD card for the ppc.

And thanks for the great skin, the more I work with it the more I like it.

Hey guys,

I'll be adding a new resolution of 720x480. It works better on my SDTV and I've heard the same from others. With my 9800 Pro I was able to get a perfect fit using the ati adjustments in the drivers which I couldn't do at 800x600 or 640x480. (800x600 also is too small and loses detail in the down rez to 480i)

This will probably clean up the 1280x720 a bit since it won't scale as much from the base up to it, and there may be minor bugs since I will be converting it to 640x480 now for those touchscreen users. But please post here what resolutions you use, and go vote http://www.xlobby.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3308 here so all the skinners can get a good idea of what rezes to develop to.

So here's an update...my girlfriend is studying for graduate entrance exams and dragging me to the library to keep her company while she studies. I know...I'm a push over. The good news for you guys is that this will be two or three evenings a week where I'll be trapped in a quiet place with a laptop so you'll probably begin to see more regular updates and added capability once again.

First new release will be migration of the baseline to 720x480 and cleaning that up and than making some background modifications that will make 1280x720 and 640x480 easier to maintain. (Stuff like fonts and that will be revamped so that I have an easier time making adjustments across multiple resolutions and they still look good.)

Then you'll see XRemote and NetRadio soon to follow.
