Help - new to all this

I have just downloaded Xlobby2 and have gone to help/setup/basic and have managed to get all my pics imported but cannot get my music to import.
I have ripped CD's in Winamp to c:/my music as .m4a files and have set this path up in help/setup/basic but when I hit import it finds no files??

press F2 (same as help/setup)

Click the databases tab then the import tab.

Next to "Template:" there is a drop down box - select music.

You will see the extensions "mp3,wav,ape,wma" are standard you will have to add '.m4a' as an extension.

Go back to basic and try import again.

I think this works (mine are all mp3).

However, I do not have the album picture coming through? Any ideas.

What format is your cover art in ?

jpg,jpeg,bmp,gif are the standard formats.

I yours is something else do what we did previously and add your coverart extension to the coverart extensions. Not sure what xlobby can display.

Is your coverart in the same folders as the m4a's - coz it needs to be.

IE C:\Music\INXS\Elegantly Wasted\musicfile.m4a (and all the rest)
C:\Music\INXS\Elegantly Wasted\coverart.jpg (only one or it will pick the first)

If you F2 then click databases then click the music database and the edit button and click on an album you should see the link to the coverart (if it found any) and the coverart itself - Or is the coverart line blank.

Thanks for your help - I have set-up the path name for the coverats in database/music/edit but the coverat.jpg files do not appear in the window.
I have checked that .jpg is valid in databases/import/music/coverat.

I have also set My Music as a path in Basic/picture path and all the images are imported successfully!?

So a little confused - any ideas

All is OK - Just re-booted the PC and all images appeared.

Time to play now as I have now got the Pocket PC client up and running..........
