Help each other out

aac media not being detected.

Postby rberger3 on Fri Jul 20, 2007 1:50 pm

Ok, so I am converting 1000's of itunes aac media files to mp3 because I thought that was the only way they would play in winamp and thusfor in xlobby, nut when i got the newest version of winamp it seems it can play aac files. So how do I get xlobby to detect them and not just mp3 files? :?

I'm just going by memory (of something I have never done...), but I think if you go into your setup (f2) and the database tab, then check out your music database, you should be able to add file types to it... Possibly under edit, possibly not. I would just suggest looking around the database setup and I think you'd find what you need there.

i think you go to databases, import, select the music template and then add aac to the list. then just go back to the media folders page and hit refresh.
