Using Powerdvd to play either files or folders?

hi there, at the moment I use powerdvd 5 in xlobby. If I have a large vob file and a jpg in a folder then currently it works a treat

however, if the movie is a subtitled movie then i keep the whole dvd as is in a folder (because i haven't figured out how to have a large vob file and still keep the subtitles). This works if i use powerdvd manually to play the folder - but how do i get xlobby to play the folder for some and files for others?
