I am running it at 1280x1024 on the desktop and 1024x768 on the webtablet (thin client, just can't get the full version to load).

Please post when you have the improved version ready for download.

I'll start with a big thanks to jowaldo for his great skins.

I run XL at 856x480 and the 4.1 beta skin gets a little messy when it stretches from 800x600 to 856x480. So I have started to clean it up a bit. I have completed the screens I use regularly (Movies, Music, Pictures, Weather, News). So I'm trying to decide what to do with the rest (Games, Internet, Control, Lights, Help).

First, I have to ask if jowaldo minds if I contribute a 16x9 version. If he wishes I can just send it to him. Or if there is space somewhere I can uploaded (I don't have space to host it).

Of course, this assumes someone else it interested. Any takers?

Yeah I really need to work on getting my skin to be more 16x9 friendly... To be honest though, with the time I have there are other things higher on my list of todos... but it is up there. I'll take a look at it soon, and see if it will take much work (I don't think it will). If it looks easy I'll add it soon.

Probably within the next few days... The newest exe changed how a few things in my skin work, so I need to fix those. As soon as that gets straightend out I'll post it.

I was wondering when you are going to release a new version to fix the bugs in the music section of the skin... ie disapering cover art...?

Also for some reason when I click on the games button... Xlobby freezes...

I am running the must current software of Xlobby and your skin...

Jowaldo - one of my favorite features of your skin is the A-Z quick jump button (not the standard search). After looking at the database for this, it appears that you are essentially creating keyboard shortcuts.

I would like to have this feature in use for movies as well, as I find the standard search more cumbersome and less "window shopping" friendly. Only problem is that the movies database does not respond to the keyboard entry - any ideas why music db works and movies does not?

Not sure why... I'll take a look, and add the quick jump page to the movies screen too. I've been meaning to do that but keep forgetting

OK, I just uploaded the latest of what I have with my skin.. It should include any bugfixes talked about earlier. I tweaked some of the ppc screens, and added a quickjump page to the movies screen. Todd, is this what you were lookin for?

Also one other cool thing I added to the music search page is a button for resetting a search on the main music page. Try searching for something, click on what you want, and it will show you the results on the main music page. Before you used to have to go back to the search page and hit reset to get everything listed again. I didn't want a reset button on the music screen all the time, cuz it would be uneeded clutter 99% of the time, so I added this button that appears when you do a search, and dissapears (and resets the search filter) when you click it.. comes in handy

Let me know if there are any problems still, or anything else you would like added.

Great stuff... :lol:

-but the Games screen bug is still there.. everytime i click on the games button XL freezes.

-on the Music-Open overlay sometime there are CD's with tracks (list) more than the screen listing. can u add a next/prev button just like in the playlist? plz :oops:

I'm not sure what would cause the games screen to make it crash.. Anyone else having this problem?

Oh and I'll add the arrow buttons to the music open overlay.. I keep forgettin to add that
