I'm almost done with my skin, I just have the pictures section left to do.

When I click on a picture, it seems to be an overlay that pops up that displays the picture full screen. I would like to put a few controls on it, kind of like a previous/next plus a few more buttons. Problem is it seems like that screen is hard coded into xlobby, its not an overlay.

I tried making a separate button that opens up the currently highlighted picture as category>pictures>display in a text box, but that just shows the cover thumbnail. So if I resize it to make it large, it looks pretty bad resized so huge. Is there any way/parameter to show the actual image not the cover/thumbnail?

As you say its the cached thumbnail at reduced quaility. Did you try entering in parameter or whatever the actual JPG's tag is in the DB?

How to do for others:-
select the Photo category in Skin editor, edit category. Put into Info screen box your own Screen. On this screen you can do what you like. I have just a prev/next button with text button to display category>pictures>whatever
