Web server failed?

I've changed my router and now when I try to run Web Server I am getting "Web server failed!" !!!!

WTF?

I have the same problem.

Have checked your router to make sure port 8002 is open?

Yes, I did.

Actually "main" HTPC runs fine. I've assigned low port. It is my laptop with high port that fails. Might be a router issue. And yes, all ports are forwarded correctly.

Changed to low port (<1000) and now it works fine...

I am having a problem trying to get my windows ME to act as a server. I have an XP laptop that I want to use as a client. I can get my XP laptop to act as the server and but not the ME desktop. Hmmm!! I keep getting an error message in the "who's on the network" window. Ugh!!!

How did you set the lower port number...it doesn't seem to be an option???

sharp_1, they are talking about the webserver, not xnet. I replied to your other thread if you want help with that.
