Home automation interface

Hello dudes,

I always wanted to have my home controlled from my computer en from remotes en cell phones.

Now i know xlobby i see that it is possible if you want it!

I want to learn programming in the next month's and i also want to make an interface in xlobby for controlling parallel ports, and that way : control my home lighting system with sensors, timers, ... much more.

Could anyone of you give me some tips and would you all give me support in this forum?

Could steve teach me if i have problems?

Any idea's ? just let me know !

I moved your thread here, because it doesn't really belong in the other forum.

But I can help you out when I have free time here and there, but I wont code anything for you...no time for that. There are a ton of example on the internet on how to communicate with a parellel port from a C# app or any other language you want to learn/use.
