Video Files not importing or playing

Another noob question.. I have a folder on my HDD for movies & videos.. I have set my media files path to that particular directory and do an "import" but it won't import anything even though there are plenty of files in it..

It does show the sub folders, but when I click on that (again knowing there are files in it) it won't play anything..

So basically my question is: will XLobby play all media file types, do the files need to be in a specific location, and what am I doing wrong??

I LOVE XLobby but if I can't get my movie files to play it's not much good to me

Hit F2 and Check under filetype section that your file types you wan´t to play are listed along with a player, also check your import settings on the database section so the filetypes you wan´t to import are listed.

Also hit F2 and check the database import settings. You may not have masks set up correctly or you may not be using the right default template for importing the movies. You should check "edit database" to see what's actually in the database you imported - do you see your video files there? Are the paths to the right files?

My guess it is either that, or you do not have the play event set up right once you click on a movie. The default install would not play anything until I reconfigured it. Are you using the internal player or an external one like zoom?
