What screen resolution are you building your XLobby skin at?

Postby mattdisaster on Tue Nov 18, 2003 7:00 pm

I just started thinking about this today, what screen resolutions are poeple building their skins at? And further more, what are they be displayed at, if different from what being made on. Since I'm still setting up a site for people to trade htpc resources (backgrounds, skins and such) I started to think more about it. Thanks for all input!

Matt,

I am not sure if it's that important since we can resize them pretty easily. But for the record, I am developping my PC skins in 1024x768 and I plan to develop my PPC skins in 320x240 (no much of a choice on that one...). I will share as soon as they are finished!

1360 X 768 for the HS10 here. It's the only display connected. I don't think it will scale at all well - I've got it crammed pretty tightly.

I make my skins @800*600 because if i make them as my normal screen resolution at 1280*1027 and i make my computer work on my tv, then i have to change the resolution and my skin doesn't fit anymore !

I make mine for 800x600 because I use it on my infocus X1 projector and that is it's native resolution.
