Its happened before. Their feed that supplies data for xml sometimes goes down. Most likely will be up by the weekend again. There's always Xoapweather too.

How do you choose what site it pulls from?

Sorry, new to Xlobby

Thanks!

Thanks, that's what I thought. I searched and searched through the weather.xml looking for something telling it where to get the information. Mine was coming up blank all evening yesterday when I was first playing around with it except for the maps. I figured, being new to the software, i had missed something. :D

I noticed that Steven has updated xWeather to include:

-xweather updated, new "advanced" forcasts available...they provide 10days and lots of weather images

in the latest experimental build. It does not include the xweather.dll. You need to update that manually.

It fixes the problems with the weather feed as well.

Thanks,

Phil, as you mentioned,

"It does not include the xweather.dll. You need to update that manually."

Where is the new one? Update then through setup?

Download the new .dll through the "F2" Setup function. The download does not automatically save the file in the plugins directory so just do a search for xweather.dll after you do the download and look for the file dated July 16. Overwrite the old version with the new one.

Restart XL and check setup/plugins for the xweather plugin. It should be version 2.0.

After that, I deleted all my regions and reloaded with the "Advanced Forecast" option selected.

The plugin configurator even lets you view the available maps during selection.
