I'm looking for a htpc program, that sends IR signals trough USBUIRT when I click a button.

so, not sending ir signals to xlobby to perform an action, but using xlobby to send an ir-signal to perform an action.

yes it can, xlobby can both recieve and transmit with a usb-uirt

common uses are controlling stereo recievers and other av equipment, especially for touchscreen and ppc users

nope just go to the 'IR' section in setup and you can setup ir events. either send or transmit, then you just go to the 'event manager' tab and you can link the ir 'trigger' to a particular event

but xlobby can't communicate with girder? because I have also some X10 devices to control :?

ok, i've found the X10 plugin also, but each time I try to put a device on (A2), I get an error message

i'd bring that up in a different thread and get people to help you with that, there's quite a bit of discussion about x10 stuff in some of the threads

i'm not sure how girder recieves them, but i suspect it can

in xlobby you open Setup with F2, then 'Event Manager', and for type of event is should be an OS: Sendmessage type and you just fill in the paramaters, i don't know how to tell girder to listen for a particular sendmessage though but I suspect it can be configured to. You may want to check the girder forums for info about recieveing a sendmessage.

This way when you push a button in xlobby, it'll set off an event which will sendmessage girder and girder does it's thing.

You can use "Girder:send event string" enter name of the girder's event
or
see this post
http://www.xlobby.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1979
and check "girder2xlobby" plugin or I think "xremote" is also for girder but I didn't use this last one - there is post in plugin section for xremote

Maybe I'm missing something, but to send IR commands from xlobby using a USB-UIRT you don't need to conplicate it with Girder. There is a USB-UIRTY plugin for xlobby that will accomplish this without having to use Girder or anything else. I simply create an event that thru USB-UIRT sends IR commands to controls the theater lighting, screen, receiver, DVD and cable box. Works great.
