Captions/Subtitles in the Internal Media Player

Postby jlr2000 on Sat Jun 30, 2007 9:13 pm

Anyone else seeing Captions/Subtitles when using the built in media player in XL? When I play a movie I see the captions (text of what is being spoken) on the screen. I don't see anything in the forum about this or disabling it, so maybe it's something I'm doing when pulling the movie to the hard drive. Thoughts? Ideas?

Thanks.

If the subs are not "burned in" u can always define your filtergraph without filter responsible for subbing.

Can you elaborate? The subs are not "burned in" because I can watch the movies with Zoom Player with no captions or subtitles displaying. Where can I adjust the filtergraph you mentioned? Is that somewhere in Xlobby? Thanks.

Think I've got it figured out. Instaled FFDSHOW and removed anything related to subs or captionng. Video plays fine now. Thanks.
