Animation and Button id

Postby Grooby on Fri Jun 05, 2009 7:35 pm

Hi

Is it possible to associate more than one id to a button?

Thanks
Andy

All the animations i am doing in iphone all have the button id "animation", this allows me to have a trigger at startup to make sure all the animations are in the down position. Its also alot easier just to have them called the same thing. But some items i would like to animate have button id's already e.g plot, in movies or the jump and alphabet screens.

I have all my viewer screens animated but was considering other screens. Maybe this will stop me from going overboard with animations! :?

Andy,

Ok I understand. We are not completely finished with the rescently released V3 build with animations commands or features, the first release was just the start of the animation events for everyone to play with and make comments. Maybe we can create a new event or additional method of doing what you want. I will post back.

actually multiple ID's would be very usefull, it makes global show hide type functions a lot easier to manage :)

We are going to add the ability to create multiple button IDs, button IDs will be separated by commas. xLobby will parse the complete ID field for all button IDs :)

For example:

ID: button trigger1, button trigger2, button trigger3
