V3 Request: Flow text

This is a ego request just to finish my last screens in a new "Weather" skin...
I would like to flow category text the same way as we can flow covers.

yep this is needed.

i would also suggest that the generated images pick up the settings from the host category.

ie. if no cover is present it sould use the cat default image and if set show the entry text as well.

it could also pick up the top layer etc.

so when this scrolls

It sould still show "the ant bully"

S Pittaway , is that a mockup screen? or am i missing something in v2. I dont have any angles in my coverflows. i thought that was to come in v3

Hey Rika,

you can alter the angle of the image (or skew) by adding another value after the cover number

e.g. category>movies>cover>1>0.25 will skew the image by shifting the right hand margin upwards, minus values shift it downwards. Steven does this in the musicflow screen.

EDIT: Just played with this and managed to replicate S Pittaways screen so it is possible - nice looking screen too, as is yours Rika

that layout is for my parrents they could actually move around and find stuff using it (i guess apple et-al came to the same conclusion)

personally i hate it you cant see enuff entries, i use

which keeps the selected item centered you can see loads of enties and it scrolls sensibly

(wes, could a standard cat layout be added that looks like this? a few ppl asked about it a while ago...)

I agree, the WAF level is very low when I tried cover flow. She likes a media wall and said it feels easier to use. Who am I to argue
