integration of flash

hey everybody,

i have one question...for this time
is it possible to integrate a flash animation in xlobby?

i beleive there is one skin with an flash animation
but this animation is on a server

at this time is it possible to integrate a flash animation in xlobby
in an other way...like a simply button...

if not ...is this freature will be possible in the future release of XL

Yes it is but flash requires something to serve up the content. That is why you see the example running form a server. If you have XP pro the IIs server can be installed.

I am dropping my daughter off at school this weekend so I may not get back to you for a few days.

First off do you understand how to make changes to a skin? If not look at Colby's guide under help.

Here are the IIS install instructions on the Mirosoft website .http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/iiiisin2.mspx?mfr=true.

Take a look at Rika's flash skin an notice how the flash overlay is accessed. Build a animated file. I used Adobe Aftereffects and then load it into the server and grab it from inside the xLobby skin editor.

I hope this helps point you in the right direction. If you need more direction let me know. I will try to help further once I am home.

hey
i have some news questions about flash integration...

before i used it in the precedent versions of xlobby but
i have downloaded the first pre-release and i have some difficulties to run iis...
but...
my routeur have had a hardware trouble so it has been reinitialized...

now i can see the file .swf in internet explorer 7
but no more in a intregrated way in xlobby with the first prerelease
and even with the precedent version of XL

so there is two questions

what are the settings for the routeur with the iis
( i have try the port forwarding but no succes...)
...routeur problem?...

is there a integration of flash in the first prerelease version
