Newbie to Calrad/XL IR remote. Nav question.

Postby Jay on Thu Apr 03, 2008 5:15 pm

I can "random access" my movies with the remote (up,down, left, right).
But I need to go to the end of the row of music covers before the selection will drop down to the next row.

If it makes any difference, my movies are sorted alphabetically and my music is sorted by genre'.

I know Wes said to call, but it sounds like your category 'scroll' mode is set to 'snake'
You're probably looking for Up/down or Up/down Move.

You can check and change this here: Skin Editor > Category > Scroll while the Database box is selected as the object you are presently editing.

Yup, it was on "snake". Thanks!

I'll leave you alone this time, Wes :)

Yup. "Spot on". The only other IR issh I'm looking at is the IP camera nav with the remote. Appears not to be a category issh.
Cannot use 'Home" nor 'Pan Scan', Tilt Scan. TL, TR, BL, or BR.

OT. Please offer 'install to folder' options for Vista users (C:/xlobby) and Program Files. Driving me nutz.
tnx

Jay,

The xLobby installer allows you to install xLobby where ever you want, am I not understanding your request.

Thanks.
Keep and Install.
Had to replace some overwritten screens but that's fine.
