Nice work! I like the dark and blue colors. Where did you get the show/hide images? Any idea when you'll be posting it? Good luck!

Thank you guys, I'm glad you like it. Those show/hide pictures are 3d models , some of them I found on the web and some I did myself. Anyway, I'm trying to work on this skin as much as I can, but unfortunately I don't have too much time - maybe in a week or two it should be ready....

80's rock!!!

My honest opinion?

This skin doesn't excite me. The 3d images look primative, flat, low-res and chunky. I dont care for the fonts and the blue main text on blue is hard to read.

I suppose I dont understand a lot about this skin. What is the intent with it? How is it better than whats out there?
What did you create the 3d images and buttons with?

What do you have left to do? Do you need any help?

Thanks Colby. I appreciate your opinion, some good points there :).
One thing that I’m not quite understanding is:

Skin is what it is – just another look for the same app, (great app if I may add) so there is no other intent behind and I’m not really creating this skin to compete with yours or any other skin out there, it’s just a different look and few other minor things like overscan or placement of the buttons…..

I was wondering if this skin was for remotes especially, or standard tv or something. What did you create the 3d files in? I may want to look at rendering them.

Yes, this skin will be remote/keyboard only (up, down, right, left and enter/OK key) with some little help from girder on tvguide (titanTV big screen) and it's for 4:3 TV (I test it on HD at 480p) with some overscan.
As far as the 3d images, the ones that I posted are in low res, I just rendered them to jpg to see how everthing will look like, final pics were rendered to targa (tga) 32 bit file at 1920x1080 and resized down to be around 500KB, so the quality will be better....
