you could use the thin client probably, maybe the full program depending on a couple things.

here is some video of the origami

Personally I dont really see anything special about it, looks like a mini tablet pc...nothing really exciting to me.

Now I know this video is fake

BUT I think that is what people want...wait lets clerify...everybody wants that thing. Hardrive based/touch screen with the ability to run 3rd party light weight apps....like an xlobby thin client...that would be exciting.

Yeah. I've been vacillating between PPCs, a tablet and finding a really small laptop for portable XL control. I currently haul around a 1998 Compaq laptop which works as a Web client on '98 and have some Audreys that don't work with XL.
UMPC seems to do it for me. I can take it on the road for GPS nav, as well.

I guess you saw that'll be a target range depending on manufacturer and what they include with each model.

Jay,
I sure did. I think the big difference between UMPC's and tablet PC's is there are already so many manufacturers getting behind UMPC. (Unlike Tablet PC in which there were like 2).

This should drive the prices down and give more variety.

As well, Microsoft Tablet PCs have that stupid stylus requirement, making them useless as touchscreen (by finger) remotes.
