Need to embed Outlook Express in Exlobby

Postby smallangryboy on Thu Feb 19, 2004 10:52 am

Hi

Wonder if anyone can help me out. In X Lobby there is a really cool feature where you run your internet browser window inside X Lobby.

I want to do the same thing but with Outlook Express can anyone guide me through the process ?

Bear in mind I'm not too technical !

Also meant to add that, like the internet browser, I want to chop off the borders of Outlook express, so in effect prevent the user from minimising resizing or closing the application while on that page.

Navigating to the page boots Outlook up and navigating from the page shuts it down - not too much to ask then :)

attached is what I had in mind, losing the top nav bars and borders.

FYI The browers is a built in thing, I believe. Any programme you launch from Xlobby, will appear in the format that it can appear outside of xlobby.

What you really want is a simple pop3 email client. You would never be able to read the OE text from any distance. Try an internet search. These things exits using a much more simplified interface, that might well be possible to control with a simple remote.
