Audio Switching

Postby edbag4 on Thu Feb 12, 2004 1:58 pm

I am using XLobby and loving it. I use TheaterTek for DVD play. I have used a text to voice program to generate a voice over intro after I have hit play in the movie selection of Xlobby. I did this by adding the message file to the external application tab of the play button in Xlobby. This worked great, first time out. Unfortunately, it kept the audio from working when the movie started. Once I removed the message file from the external application section, everything (minus the voice over) worked great again. I noticed that the voice over was playing via winamp. Any ideas on how I might make this switch work so that I can play the voice over and still have the movie play? Any and all ideas are welcome.

Thanks,
Ed

BTW:
The text to voice program is pretty cool and sounds quite realistic, it is by AT&T and is free to use on the website up to 30 words. The demo is located here:

After you listen to your message, you can do a search on your PC for wav files then copy and paste. Enjoy!
