import playlist

Can someone tell me how to see or import my existing playlists into xlobby? I've got all my music set up and things are running pretty smooth now.
Thx

Just copy/move playlists to the c:\program files\xlobby\playlists folder...

Thx for the reply. I did that and still cannot see any saved playlists. Any other suggestions? I even tried 3 different skins. Man I really want this to work out. This is exactly the type of program I have been looking for.

1 - My playlists are in M3U format
2 - U have to restart xlobby to see them
3 - The music has to exist in the xlobby database for the song to show.

Later
Simon.

OK. My playlists are M3U.
I did reload the database and re-start xlobby.
I verified that the playlists were in the program files\xlobby\playlist in the M3U format.
Still can't see any playlists. I can create a new playlist within xlobby and I can play my music from the albums, but still can't see pre existing playlists.
Do I need to disable my Windows Media player?
Is there a problem that my music is stored like this:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\My Music ?

Bet you created the M3U using WMPlayer.

Use notepad:

EG:

C:\Media\Music\Singles\Goldfrapp - Ooh La La.mp3
C:\My Music\Madonna - Sorry.mp3
C:\Media\Music\Singles\04 - Because Of You.mp3
C:\Media\Music\Singles\Ashlee Simpson - L.O.V.E..mp3
C:\My Music\Liz McClarnon - Woman In Love.mp3
C:\My Music\Backstreet Boys - Crawling Back To You.mp3
C:\My Music\SugaBabes - Red Dress (Radio Edit).mp3
C:\My Music\Coldplay - The Hardest Part.mp3

Save it with M3U extension. Does that work?

If i make a playlist (just tried it now) using WMP then the playlist does not work in xlobby. Looks funny in notepad - also the c:\ part is missing.

EG:

#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:0,music.wma
..\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Music\music.wma

#EXTINF:0,New Stories (Highway Blues).wma
..\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Music\Sample Music\New Stories (Highway Blues).wma

Make the playlist using winamp. (I personally use J River Media Center)

Twit. Thanks for your help. Finally....success! I created a new playlist in Jriver and was able to see it in xlobby. Very happy. Now next step. Can I import an existing playlist from WMP into Jriver and just save it for an xlobby playlist? I put a lot of work into making my existing playlists and would hate to have to do it all over again.

If it's m3u playlist, you should be able to read it into WinAmp, then just save it from WinAmp, I suppose it should be OK...

In J River import it as you would your music. Make sure you add the M3U as one of the file types to import. They should show under playlists>imported.
