Bill,

Check this out. This was created by Raymond Phillips

About:
LCARS x32 is a replacement shell for Windows XP, 2000, and Vista. It may work for Windows 95/98/ME, but that is not verified. LCARS x32 is modeled after the fictional computer system used aboard Star Fleet vessels in the television show Star Trek: The Next Generation.

Although there are other similar LCARS systems out there, none (to my knowledge) are designed to replace Windows' "Explorer" shell and are available completely free of charge. The goal of LCARS x32 is not to be just "eye candy" for trekkies. It's designed to be a completely useable graphical user interface (GUI) for Windows based machines.

xLobby can do this soon. We already have text to speech, the speech recognition abilities are available in xLobby but not currently exposed. Maybe Ray would be interested in xLobby or maybe sharing some of his graphics.

This is also pretty cool !
