I'm purchasing a new wiz bang multi-media kitchen computer from HP today and it comes with a 64bit version of Vista installed. Will the last freeware version of XLobby run on this OS...?
I believe your talking about the HP - TouchSmart All-In-One Desktop with Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T5750 - Piano Black/Espresso. Yes it will run but the master volume control will not work in Vista on the freeware version and you should also install xLobby in its own folder such as C:\xLobby and not in the c:\program\xLobby as this will cause security-administrator issues. We bought one of these to Demo xLobby on at Cedia.
Just happened to be roaming the forums trying to find a solution to a problem when I saw this. I use the free version of Xlobby on Vista Ultimate x64 and am able to use the master volume control just fine inside xlobby. Am I missing something?
