Overlay during DVD Playback

Is there a way to prevent a movie playing on display 2 from stopping when an overlay is opened on display 1?

Sounds like a bug.
If you can duplicate it, you should post it on mantis.

mine does the same thing, i don't know if it's a bug but a limitation of the video stream.
i have lighting overlays and other features that i can open and every time an overlay opens
the movie pauses. no matter if it's a video, dvd, video_t, etc.

but i would like to have the video play while the overlay is open !!!!!

billbert, is your overlay and animation? I swear I never has this issue before with overlays.. But not 100%

my overlays are just buttons, to control the lighting.
i have ati vid card and use CCC to do my multi monitor support.
from my vid card i go vga to all my touchscreens, and component out to my video matrix.

i use the internal player in XL, even if i hit the settings button on the player, the movie pauses when the overlay opens.
this has always been the case for me since day one.

I have noticed it's not any overlay, just the animated overlay's
