Is it possible to turn off say the photo's menu of xlobby? This program rocks and I'm trying to find out more of it before commiting myself to xlobby on the mac mini =)

i'm not sure if xlobby even runs on the mac mini to be honest, I know for certain that there are components that are still not working (audio through minijack, although optical works fine). I'll test this out thoroughly this week once my mini arrives =)

In anycase, the reason to 'turn off' features such as photos is because i have no desire to display photos on our big screen. I think the way to achieve this is through skins.

you can turn off or create menus to anything you want in xlobby. No problem.

I don't think .net runs on a mac. You would have to use mono, which is an open source .net look-alike whcih runs on Linux, Solaris, Mac OS X, Windows, and Unix.

I not sure if how compatable it would be....

wait, i'm talking about windows xp on the mac...

I'm not sure if you guys been paying attention to the news, but mac switched over to intel hardware. They finally cracked the code so that you can now run Windows XP on the mac-intels...

I bought the mac mini specifically for this reason.... basically an intel box in an itx case, something i couldn't build since i needed dvi (i couldn't find any itx solutions for x86 that had dvi, matx i found tons).

Once my mini arrives I'll let you guys know my success. I'd also like to contribute code/plugins once i find something that i want/need that hasn't been made yet.

Cheers!
