WMP 11 still does not ply MOV files?

Is it true that WMP 11 still does not play MOV files? Is there any Plugin or add-on for this? Right now, I use MPC to play everything, but I was thinking of switching to WMP. Maybe I shouldn't?

Its not a matter of plugin , but codecs.. you will need to install either quicktime or get the codecs from somewhere (preferably ffdshow), thats only when WM will play .mov. Otherwise use VLC without installing extra codecs.

Hmmm...thats interesting....I did install ffdshow, then removed it and installed K-Lite Codec Pack 3.6.5 full instead. But I didn't have any luck with VLC either. MPC plays them just fine, but WMP says no codes and VLC displays an error. Maybe I need to do more digging.
