Execute command got Xlobby crashed

Postby choco140 on Sun May 30, 2004 5:39 pm

Anytime I try to execute any file with or without any arguments Xlobby got crashed (100% in task manager). When I test my command everything is fine, but when I attach it to a button it crashes...

Am I missing anything here?

PS: year, I know I'm posting a lot today, but I am setting up my HTPC interface and everything doesn't go as fast as I expected :(

After looking around a bit, I figured out that Xlobby was not granted access to my HD exe files.

So it doesn't really crash but try endlessly to access exe files. My problem now is that I have no idea which settings or service causes that problem...

Any help?

You bet, that's the first thing I checked, and the answer is : yes I am logged as an Administrator.

I am sure that I have disabled a service or an option in local security that Xlobby is not happy about, but which one? The event log is not really explicit and doesn't provide useful informations.

That broke my nerve yesterday  and I am still working on it.
