so true. it's addicting. Once you start shopping for one in the bathroom you know there is an issue ;)

All my touch screens are 1024 x 768, extended into other rooms over CAT5 -> VGA & CAT5 -> serial. All are 15" Elo's and the same resolution.

I claim first download! I will see if I can adapt it to my system as I am ready for a new skin. My old one works great and therfore is boring. Time to piss off my family by changing everything.

Thanks for sharing,

Your welcome :D

I spent all my time finishing these version's for the Xlobby faithfull, now thats finished with i am gonna finish up my version which has control screens for my equipment. Some stuff in the released skin i just dont use myself, web, web cameras etc...I mostly use it as a big remote control with girder/usb-urit and for music and movies.

Once i finish mine i can turn my attentions to a new skin i am designing on paper while at work...shhh....dont tell the boss. Its gonna be a kinda cyber punk industrial Phillip K Dick inspired theme, well...thats the idea. 8)

I cut my teeth on photoshop making these 2 skins.

Hope you get some use out of them anyway...

I know enough Photoshop to be dangerous. I have lots of custom control elements in my existing skin that I will migrate. I also plan to use your basic design but do significant reformmatting to get more screen real estate organization that will please my demanding users.

I will repost the hacked version when I get finished.

As I was working on moding this skin for my system I started to wonder what would need to change when Steve releases v3.

2 items jumped to mind:

1 - 2 way RS-232 so I can recieve and react to inbound RS-232 messages from my amp. (think change button color or display zone status)

2 - Better control of button states. When on really is on because the amp told me so.

I am sure there is lots more to consider once we see the feature list but I am focused on the little user elements that make the difference.

Maybe Wes can comment???

Great skin!
