you can use several cards but only with the use of different tuner plugin :
- 1 analogic with ktv
- 1 MPEG hardware with wintv2000
- 1 DVB-X with progdvb
- 1 DVB-X with mytheatre

if you can configure xltv so that each card use a specific "tuner", you can record on one tuner and watch on another (with some limitations with ktv due to the overlay)

Could you tell me what u use to schedule a window task, SCHTASKS or WMIservices or any other means.
SCHTASKS does not allow to flag "Run only if logged on" and "Wake up computer to run task"?

I use directly the low level library (in c#).
What do you intend to do?
The task scheduler doesn't work with xltv on your computer?

I was trying to schedule a recording job manually for MyTheatre , when i found this issue

it depends :
-for a live recording, when you stop, I take the name of the event (from the EPG) on the middle
- for the scheduled recording : it's the name of the program you selected

if you have access to EPG information, xltv will do it for you
