I believe in the age old way of taking out lightbulbs....shoot them with a pellet gun...that takes them out nicely.

This is a typically biased 'Western' forum topic. There's not even a mention of 'parafin lamps' for us users in Africa. When my lamp oil runs out all I have is the light from my laptop's screen! :D

Screw the lightbulbs!

Someone finally got it right!

That's EXACTLY how you change a lightbulb.

Well I tried 'screwing my lightbulbs' but seem to have on older version. Mine are bayonet fittings.

Googled for the inventor of said 'lightbulb' but could not find his homepage and hence could not download the screw-bayonet upgrade. If anyone has an old copy please post it.

Is lightbulbs V3.0 out? I like my candles V2.0 - just a few fixes would make it perfect.

I knew it was only a matter of time before someone raised the subject of plug-ins.

I find I get an overheating problem with candle 2.0...

I think my favorite add-on to lightbulb is Shade. It's only in beta right now, but it works pretty good. You have to be careful not to integrate it too closely with lamp though otherwise you'll overheat (the problem with candle) and you'll bring the whole system down...

It can also have a cascade effect and bring adjacent systems down as well then it goes down.
