Of course, I don't have any games either.... but, if I select "games" xLobby does lock up.

hmm thats really weird... i can't reproduce this problem.. is there anyone that has this problem that can zip up thier whole xlobby folder so I can try it? I have a feeling it might be a mix of my skin and certain exe's or plugins.

If its a reasonable size you can email it to

Also is ther anyone that isn't having this problem?

since I downloaded the skin, I try to start xlobby and it freezes at Screens, first time I used a skin other than the default. any ideas?

are you using the lastest exe?

That is usually the cause of freezing 99% of the time, if you are using an old one.

Hi Jowaldo,

Really like the changes to your skin.

One thing though, I have noticed you have changed the ppc screens so there is now only 3 cd's per screen. Is there a way i can change it back to view 9 cd's per screen as it was previously as i find it much easier to browse this way.

Yeah, I've been messing around with that screen... I haven't decided yet how exactly I want it to work. I like having the text next to the coverart so its easier to know what album it is if the cover doens't look familiar. But then you lose a ton of screen real estate

I probably will change it back to the way it was before, but if you want to change it for now, just open up the skin editor when you are at that screen, and go to the item>category>layout tab and choose "default missing"

Then under columns change it to 3 and play around with the size a bit if needed.

Thanks for your quick response.

I have tried to change it back as you suggested however when i get to the item>categary>layout tab all the items are greyed out so can not be selected.

Any ideas what i am doing wrong?

did you click on the actual category object (the coveart and text)? It has to be selected for you to be able to change its options.

Was not clicking after i brought up the skin editor.

Got it now though changed it as you said.

Glad to hear it worked. Do you have any other suggestions for the ppc screens? I'd like to hear more what people think of those.

Cant think of anything off hand, really like the way you have it now.

One other problem i have noticed though on my ppc, not sure if it has already been mentioned but when you select the a-z button then slelet a letter nothing happens just goes back to the browse screen at the place you left it?

Hmm... I'll have to check that out... I honestly haven't used my ppc much lately, so I don't catch onto things like that as fast as the regular screens
