Cannot start Xlobby !!!

Speak your mind

Cannot start Xlobby !!!

Postby rsh on Thu Feb 16, 2006 6:29 pm

I have downloaded the Xlobby on to my HTPC where I run WinXP with SP2.

When I try to run Xlobby I get an Error:

The Application failed to initialize properly (0Xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application.

Can anyone tell me what the problem could be here?

Thank you in advance.

Have you installed Microsoft Framework .Net 2.0? Sounds like that might be the problem...

.Net 1.1 is required for the old version of Xlobby.

.Net 2.0 is required for the latest version.

Well,

The .Net 2.0 did the trick. Now the Xlobby is working thanks a lot !!!

But I am having another problem:

I used DVD Shrink to create several clips from DVDs. I configure the "Movie path" When I go to "Movies" and click refresh, I see:

Status: Scanning
FILE:1 of 1
Name:E:\MyMovies\Video_TS\Video_TS.IFO

and then Pop Up window with the message:

Xlobby 2.0 Alpha has encountered a problem and need to close....

Any ideas?

Thank you

Not sure exactly what's causing the crash, but you need each of your movie files in its own folder (My structure looks like this "Movies > Movie Title > Video_TS > Ripped movie files). Then point Xlobby to the top-level folder and try to import again.

Good luck. No offence intended, but it might help to read around abit before you get too frustrated. This is a good place to start.
