multiple instances of Winamp

Postby Giz_zmo on Fri Feb 17, 2006 1:13 pm

Hello all,

Sinds 1 week I'm using Xlobby, and from what i have seen so far ... man killer application!!

I'm planning to integrate Xlobby in to my new house (buiding @ this moment). I sure would like to use MulitZone Audio.

I played with a 2 PC setup and so far everything workt out fine. Now i want to use a Soundblaster Card supported via de KxDrivers.

The Kx drivers seem to work fine ... i installed 2 instances of Winamp @:
c:\programfiles\xlobby\multizone\room1\winamp
c:\programfiles\xlobby\multizone\room2\winamp
And modified the outputs of the 2 winamps to the correct settings 4/5 and 6/7

In the setup page of Xlobby i put the 2 Winamp.exe in the "Foobar/WinampZones". Now when i restart Xlobby only 1 Winamp player is starting and in the Xnet Page (after servers start) i can only configure 1 zone.

Am I overlooking something here ... or is there something wroung in my Xlobby config?

Many Thx for the Help!
David

Have you got the 'Allow Multiple Instances' ticked in WinAmp?
Somewhere on the preferences page.
