iTunes plugin for wireless airport audio card

Hello

A tantalising title for the multiroom xLobby builder.

Can a plugin for Apple's iTunes be written, not for the reason iTunes is better than the Foobar2000, but iTunes supports the airport wlan port, this has a headphone socket.

Using this could build a multiroom system with wireless syncronised audio, and it'll be lower cost than pc's in each node.

Hi

Having just found Philips streamium.com site, do any xLobby media players support uPNP?

I read about an iTunes plugin for WinAmp that people succesfully used in order to stream their WinAmp music to their airport. I haven't personally tested this but it sounds like this should be possible with xlobby without too much tweaking.

There is also a command-line app that sends one specified file to the airport. I do not recall the name.

I suggest googeling for winamp itunes plugin.

Let me know about your success. I will likely try to do the same.
