PPC "Play album"

Postby Roscoe62 on Sun Feb 29, 2004 5:25 am

Does anyone know how to do this with Alpha 40exp5?

I might be wrong but there still seems to be a lot of stuff that's not working yet with this version.

Anyway, in the meantime, does anyone know how to get an entire album to play with this version? I can get individual tracks to work OK, but I can't figure out how to get the whole album to play.

Any suggestions?

Noviceboy,

On the PPC what are you selecting to play the whole album. For me, in the music selection screen if I select the album cover I get the album details and the track listing, but from here I can only play individual tracks by individually selecting them. Hitting the play and/or add buttons don't do a thing.

There also seems to be problems with exp5 with the abc overlay via PPC.

@Roscoe62

Sorry, I thou´ght you were refering in the second paragraph to things in general, not PPC specific. I believeive PPC is not "stable" in v40 from other postings including those from steven.

Yeah,

That's the way things look to me too. Oh well, just have to wait until Steven returns. Hope his back is still in one piece!

yah dont even bother playing with the PPC stuff in the EXP versions....thats something I will do last...I have to get everything else working first....the only reason the PPC stuff isnt working though is because I havent moved it over to the new skin format.....so thats why things aren't working properly.

My back is fine :) but my feet still hurt.....I guess I should just sit down and do some programming :)

Sounds like a plan to me Steven....but then again I have ulterior motives (nya ha ha!!)

Great to see you back in (virtually) one piece! I hope the move went OK?

Any ideas on how far away you are on getting the PPC stuff up & running again? My system depends on it.

I'm not trying to hurry you, I'm just curious.....no, really!

not too sure when I will get the ppc stuff working again....I will probably make one more EXP release then release alpha40 with the ppc stuff fixed....so under a week for sure....but dont expect it until next week sometime.

Thanks for the update Steven. That at least gives me a timeframe to work to. I'm on leave from work for the next few weeks - the sun is shining here at the moment, so I'm busy building a deck outside. That's why no hurry.

BTW.....I love the spiders in the new version! GREAT idea and implementation!
