Still using mine but admit i cross my fingers with each reboot that xlobby comes up. Its really the core of my movies, music and home automation.

My server MB died. Had to replace and license check failed. I called CalRad and after some explaning, they reset my license.

That was a big deal as I would hate to start over now.

Seems that xWeather feed is not working anymore.

I was putting together a new media server and decided to check out this old forum. Much to my surprise my login still worked but it looks like Xlobby and the forum are dead since mostly 2012. I vaguely remember a note somewhere that Calrad cut off development for Xlobby which meant Wes and Steve were no more with them. So what happen to Steve ? What are people using instead of Xlobby ?

I switched to MediaPortal for a few year as I was running OTA, and MediaPortal had the best TV integration. I still used Xlobby for multizoning. Now moved into a new home, use Kodi (TVAddOns) for video (no good OTA in my area), and Logitch Squeeze system (RaspberryPi Squeezelite clients) for multi-zoning audio. Unfortunately Xlobby went the way of the do-do.

Was on Mediaportal for some years then eventually switched over to XBMC now Kodi.. but i miss the easy customization of Xlobby

OMG, just found a bookmark and decided to check what is happening with Xlobby,.... my old Dell HTPC has died and since that time I've been using my Samsung TV with attached hard drive to play music/movies... now on Android tv box with Kodi... Now, Kodi is soooo much better than Xlobby, much more plugins etc... but damn, Xlobby was so easy to skin and the best HTPC software I have seen... miss good old days with Xlobby...
