content is offline - video database

Postby billberet on Thu Oct 01, 2009 4:59 am

hey, here is somthing new that just started

for some reason, in my video database all my dvd's display
content is offline when i try to play it. (only shows that have video_ts)
all the avi and mpg files play no problem.

in my movie database all my video_t shows play with no problems.
this issue only happens in my video database.

any ideas?

Possible bug in the latest build, we add some new features to warn users that the content xLobby is trying to render does not exist or is offline. So the other Movie databases work fine ?

Latest xLobby V3 release information:http://xlobby.com/news/2009/09/26/new-xlobby-v3-3-0-9269-5-release/

Looking into the issue.....!

thanks wes,
yes, in the movie database, everything works fine.
in the video database, i cannot play any video_t files.

if i move the video_t directory from video to the movie table, it plays fine.
i will wait for the next update to correct this.

thanks again

I am soooo glad I didn't load the latest build to any of my client's machines.
I'm looking forward to the next build that also handles videos, and the rest of the databases.
Thank you Steven so much for rushing to get the fixes out to us. We all appreciate your hard work.
XLobby just keeps getting better and better. (Go! Go! Go! "Stability")

I believe this has been fixed and should be in the next release.

I need a copy of your videos.xml database file, and if possible the movies.xml that works.

email it to me stevenhanna6@gmail.com

Something is different with the import between the two databases, not sure what....but the new feature check to see if the file exists before showing that screen so it's getting confused somewhere.
