PPC and xlobby client

Postby lovingHDTV on Sun May 08, 2005 12:10 pm

When my PPC is on battery and after 5min. I have it setup to turn off. When I turn it back on, the xlobby client looks the same as when it turned off. However, when I try to use the it, xlobby stops and I have to restart it.

Is this normal? I was expecting it to act like all the other apps on the PPC, and resume where it left off.

thanks,

It depends on the netowk card, the cheap origo one I use in mu dell axim resumes the app just fine but my new hp ipaq always needs to be restarted.

Hmm, maybe that is my problem. I've got a Dell Axim X30 with the built in WiFi.

This is a documented issue with little final conclusion, a mate had a linksis card which doesn't resume but he has a different hp ipaq to mine and that doesn't either. Other people here have reported similar results.

I'm using a Dell X30 and I also have the same problem..
btw is there a way for setting the PPC client to auto refresh the screen with out you tapping on it first cry: ? especially on the [Now Playing] screen to show progress and refresh the screen when the next song starts to play

refresh: (optional)

Number in milliseconds between refreshes, I wouldn't use anything less than 1000 (1000 = 1second), simply add "refresh:1000" to try this refresh option.
