hi, i use mst already - and it is a good app. MST is only good for usb and network cards though.

Just to recap...I have 3 computers and 3 pci sound cards. I have tried all permutations with the same result.

i.e. my computer will not suspend unto I either close Xlobby or disable my sound card when Xlobby is running.

When Xlobby is not running then my computer suspends as it should.

Oh well, if I ever find the reason I will post :)

thanks for the suggestions.

I do understand that, but if we are lucky the logs will tell us more. I would say enable Xlobby debug logs but as u know the logs are still not good enough to track to nasty ones.
And even just by looking at MST gui u can tell if the timer is moving and stuff like like. Who knows one of the settings for away mode might fix XL problem.

hi, I also use Event Ghost (which is excellant with Xlobby) which has the same power debugging info.

i.e. idle time

I will examine both these logs again. and report back.

on the device manager tab for the cards do you have a power opion tab?

its not simply as simple as turning off the do not turn off this device to save power box is it?

hi, none of the pci cards have an option for power savings.

They enter power mode fine when xlobby is not loaded.

thanks

hi, it was a combination I think.

I updated to the latest client (though it might have been fixed sometime before) and removed the xReceive plugin.

Once my cpu usage was lower (after xReceive was gone) I could enter sleep mode.

thanks
