anyone played .m2ts format in XL

hey
has anyone tried to play the .m2ts format for HD video yet?
if so, what codec's are you using.

i don't know if i want to do alot of movies in this format cause of the size of disk space it takes up.
i got the transformers 2 dvd in .m2ts format and that is one movie you WANT to play in HD!!!!
i can probably count on one hand how many movies i want to use this format with but i still want it.

any thoughts?

I have beed ripping bit for bit HDDVD and BluRay to iso for awhile now. The drives are cheap so it has not been a problem.

If you strip off the protection using DVDFab or AnyDVD you can run PDVD and Arcsoft. I never tried but zoomplayer 6+ is supposed to work with PDVD codecs.
