OS to install

I just got my parts for my HTPC, and I was wondering which OS i should install : Windows XP Pro or Windows XP Media Center Edition?

I obviously plan to use XLobby for this system, but I was wondering if there's any advantage to using MCE versus XP Pro. Are there any extra features I could use?

If you plan on using XL as your front end than no, there are no extra features. MCE is basically XP pro with front end

On the other hand MCE is less expensive (I think), so if you're buying now, buy MCE and save some green and if you have one of them already just use the one you have.
